Normal Planet

From Viennale

NORMAL PLANET is a reflection on our increasingly virtual existence. This animated documentary follows avatars through an online museum, where fragments of conversation quietly reshape the spaces they inhabit, and communal space is continually produced through attention, misunderstanding and exchange. Building on the virtual documentary experiments and immersive online ethnography of their previous shorts, Ekiem Barbier, Guilhem Causse and Quentin L’helgoualc’h once again approach digital worlds not as simulations, but as places where contemporary life unfolds.
